As social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 becomes our new normal, we are doing what we can to help support the businesses in our community. We have joined forces with Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Austin Heights BIA, Shop Local Port Moody and the Tri-City News for a #SupportLocal campaign to help Tri-Cities businesses make it through these difficult times.

Statement from the Chamber:
From the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce,
In recent days we’ve all been consumed with news on the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it’s affecting our health, our families, and our businesses. Small business is the backbone of the Canadian economy. During this time, it’s critical that we continue to support our local businesses.
That’s why the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Shop Local Port Moody, Austin Heights BIA, Downtown PoCo BIA, and Tri-City News to connect with the community about the importance of supporting local and doing your part to help businesses sustain.
How can you help:
1. Give the gift of business: Consider purchasing gift certificates to your favourite shops, restaurants or businesses. You could either give a gift to a friend, keep for yourself, or give to someone in need.
2. Keep your subscription: gyms, art studios, local media and more rely on this to keep their doors open. A few weeks of continued support can save a business.
3. Share the love: Support your favourite businesses on social media; like their content, share their posts, write reviews.
These are challenging and unprecedented times and we need to work together. We are stronger when we support each other.
