Formed in 1994, Downtown Port Coquitlam Business Improvement Association is a non-profit organization under the direction of a volunteer board. We work hard to promote the interests of our members: the licensed business operators and property owners located within our boundaries. We receive our authority from City of Port Coquitlam Bylaw No. 3736, which established the Downtown Business Improvement Area.

We want the downtown to be a warm and welcoming place for visitors to experience PoCo. We put on multiple events throughout the year that are designed to appeal to a wide variety of people and bring them into the downtown. Check out our events calendar to see what we have going on next.
We are working hard to showcase downtown PoCo as the vibrant, fun, and unique community that it is. Our marketing materials and social media channels are designed to increase visits, outline the benefits of shopping locally, and highlight the businesses in our area.
Striving to create a safe, beautiful, and prosperous downtown, we work with key stakeholders to advocate for positive change. As the voice of the downtown business community, we look for input from our membership to make sure we are focusing on the issues that are affecting them.
