Going back to school can be a stressful time for many, regardless of the pandemic. So, this school year we want to encourage self-care by providing information and resources about the people and businesses within downtown Port Coquitlam that can help. We want Tri-Cities families to know that there is support is in your backyard. We will show you how to access it and most importantly, that you’re not alone.
Each week we will feature a Downtown PoCo member that supports mental health. You can expect to hear from Jessica Cooper Counselling, Aster Wellness, Strawberries and Sunshine, Riverside Counselling, Connected Natural Medicine and more. You will have the opportunity to meet the faces behind the organizations as well as learn daily tips and advice to support your mental health, such as coping mechanisms, recognizing problems as they arise and how to get through them and these challenging times.
This week we are kicking off our #MentalHealthMatters Campaign with messages from Port Coquitlam’s Community Leaders. Be sure to follow us on social media @downtownpoco to learn about, and benefit from, the incredible people, businesses and resources that Downtown PoCo has to offer to support you and your family.
